Sale with customer and coupon
What you will learn
Section titled “What you will learn”Link a customer to the cart and optionally apply a coupon before payment.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”customerread for customer picker (Sale still needsposwrite).- Customers exist in CRM (Customers at POS).
Step 1 — Add items
Section titled “Step 1 — Add items”Add catalog lines as in Cash sale.
Step 2 — Attach customer
Section titled “Step 2 — Attach customer”- Open Customer on the sale screen.
- Search by name, phone, or code.
- Select the customer (or Add customer quick form).
Step 3 — Apply coupon (optional)
Section titled “Step 3 — Apply coupon (optional)”- Open Coupon / promotions.
- Enter or select a valid coupon.
- Confirm discount appears on cart totals.
Step 4 — Pay
Section titled “Step 4 — Pay”Choose Cash, Card, or Customer debt when eligible (Customer debt).
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”- Order stores
customer_id/ linked user when applicable. - Coupon discount reflected in totals.
- Membership-priced lines follow store rules (if enabled).
Common issues
